ThermiRF® is a unique thermistor-regulated radiofrequency technology designed to safely produce excellent aesthetic outcomes through the application of the science of heat. This is a platform technology, which combines precision temperature control with advanced real-time temperature monitoring to enable a myriad of soft tissue applications. ThermiRF is used for skin tightening of the face, body and vagina area.
Laser skin resurfacing, commonly called a laser peel, removes the outer, damaged layer of skin to reveal a smoother, younger look. Laser resurfacing can reduce the appearance of sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, uneven pigmentation and superficial scarring, usually on the face. A carbon dioxide (CO2) laser beam of precisely focused light vaporizes the surface skin and reveals the undamaged layer beneath. Procedure time varies depending on the size and condition of the area being treated.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) technology is a treatment breakthrough that can correct a variety of benign skin conditions, such as facial skin imperfections, the signs of photo-aging, birthmarks, unwanted hair, unsightly small veins, and other blemishes. It offers a safe, non-invasive solution that can be tailored to your individual condition and skin type, providing superior cosmetic results and outstanding satisfaction, through a new process called photorejuvenation.
Sun damage can affect any area of your skin as a result of long-term exposure to the ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun. Sun damage most commonly occurs on the face, hands and arms, and may lead to sun spots, age spots, rough skin and wrinkles. Years of sun exposure can also lead to premature aging and skin cancer.
The best treatment against sun damage is preventing it from occurring in the first place. It is important to wear sunscreen lotion on a daily basis and avoid excessive exposure to the sun, especially during mid-day hours when the sun is strongest. Existing sun damage can be treated through skin procedures like BOTOX®, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy.
Depending on their depth, location and color, as well as the patient's skin type, age and other factors, treatment for benign but unattractive birthmarks may take the form of laser or pulsed light therapy(IPL).
Photorejuvenation with IPL is the most versatile of all treatment options. Patients often schedule appointments during their lunch hour. IPL can treat numerous skin conditions at once. IPL is effective on red blemishes that originate from blood vessels. At the same time, IPL can treat brown pigment blemishes in the form of freckles, age spots and other sun damage. IPL also treats the neck, the chest, and the hands as well, where sun damage is often most visible.
Redness on the face often develops as a result of acne, rosacea, birthmarks, broken blood vessels, sun damage and more. Treatment for facial redness uses a Diolite laser to heat and destroy blood vessels and improve the appearance of the skin.
For unsightly veins on the legs, IPL is capable of addressing these lesions. During treatment, Intense Pulsed Light or laser light is absorbed by the blood in these small veins, heating and destroying the vessels. Over time the destroyed veins are reabsorbed and disappear.
Many patients, both men and women, seek laser hair removal after becoming frustrated with temporary and often painful methods such as shaving and waxing. Laser hair removal uses heat energy to destroy hair follicles and prevent hair growth for up to two years, while leaving the skin in the area undamaged.
