Your Arm Lift Surgery
Your surgery is performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. Excess skin and fatty tissue are removed. Liposuction may be performed to achieve a smoother result and/or reduce the amount of fat in the upper arms. You will return home wearing a compression garment and/or dressings. Discomfort is easily controlled with oral medication. You may experience soreness and tightness in the upper arms, bruising, and minor swelling. The initial healing period varies from approximately one to two weeks.
